Aircraft maintenance

Maintenance of the aircraft is divided into two parts

  • The continuing airworthiness of aircrafts, which ensures that the aircraft is maintained in the prescribed timeframe in accordance with the approved maintenance program and to implement the approved maintenance organizations, and then check the work performed.
  • Maintenance of aircraft through part-145 maintenance organization that performs commissioned works department continuing airworthiness management and maintenance schedule for each aircraft.

Continuing airworthiness management

We hold Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in accordance with Part M, Subpart G requirements.
We are currently possess approval for SAAB 340A, PA34, PA28, C172, DA20, R22 aircrafts and we possess knowledge on numerous different aircraft types and offer a full range of CAMO services to support private aircraft owners, commercial operators. These services include:
  • Continuing Airworthiness Management of aircraft (in service or storage)
  • Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARCs) issue and renewal
  • Aircraft maintenance programme development
  • Technical records management
  • Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service bulletin (SB) reviews
  • Aircraft damage assessment and mapping
  • Reliability monitoring
  • Production of maintenance work packages
  • Maintenance provider audits

Maintenance organization part 145

Initially established to support Lipican Aer’s own fleet, and with acquired knowledge can provite services to the other operators, including
  • Base maintenance of SAAB340 and other general aviation aircraft
  • Line maintenance and ad-hoc on-site maintenance and repair
Base maintenance for aircraft general categories takes place in a hangar at the Portorž Airport in Sečovlje. Line maintenance, it is possible in Ljubljana Airport.
Flexible system enables quick and efficient establishment of new line stations adapted to customer needs.
