A few minutes after takeoff, we reach the beautiful town Umag, where we see the characteristic Venetian’s houses of the old town, the preserved part of the walls, towers, numerous Renaissance and Baroque buildings and churches. At first, we see a large port or marina Umag, which is beautifully decorated and also has a great location and view on the old part of town.
Shortly we reach the beautiful town of Piran, where we see the famous lighthouse, Prešeren’s embankment, St. Jurij’s church and Tartini Square. In the background we can see the magnificent city walls and city gates that surround the city center, which was repeatedly upgraded and adapted in the 7th century because of the expansion of the city and adjusted to the medieval style of warfare.
We continue our flight towards the town Koper, which is also known as Slovenia’s largest port city. Besides the port, it is also adorned with other important buildings and churches and one of the most beautiful city squares, Tito square, which received its final appearance and seal in the second half of the 15th century, when the most important architectural monuments were built on.
A few minutes later we see the beautiful Istrian town Buje, which is adorned with beautiful vineyards and olive plantations. The city is also known for one of the best-preserved wine roads in Croatia. The most prominent is the bell tower of the church St. Servula, which adorns the city and is one of the highest in Istria. Nearby we can also see the clear stream Škarline, which is surrounded by a beautiful and perfectly preserved nature park.
Airport Portorož
30 minutes before takeoff
On the panoramic flight Umag-Piran-Koper-Buje you will see Umag, Piran, Koper and Buje from a different perspective – from the air. We take off from airport Portorož, where you must gather at least 30 minutes before the takeoff.
The price includes panoramic flight and all necessary security equipment for up to 3 people. Transport to the airport and snacks and drinks are not included in the price, so bring your own if needed.
The flight lasts 30 minutes, and after the flight is over, we land at the airport Portorož again.
