After takeoff from airport Ljubljana, after a few minutes of flying around the diverse surroundings, we see the mighty building, the Škofja Loka Castle, which today serves as the Škofja Loka Museum. It is surrounded by beautiful buildings, churches and beautiful surroundings, where Sora river mouths flow through the town. It is precise because of the diversity of the city, separated by the river and its tributaries, that the bridges give the town a special hint and beauty.
We continue our flight towards Postojna, where at the foot of the high stone wall we see the beautiful Predjama Castle, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest cave castle in the world. Soon we see the large Karst field (Mountain field), which is considered one of Europe’s important and unique habitats for many plant and animal species. View of the beautiful scenery takes our breath away.
We soon continue our flight to Vrhnika, which is enriched by numerous churches, museums, memorial houses and numerous archeological finds, including the bicycle, which is the oldest wooden bicycle in the world (5200 years old). During the flight, we also admire the beauty of Bistra Castle, which is surrounded by a beautiful park with a pond, and above it there is a forest educational trail.
On our return, we fly over the capital of Slovenia, where we see the famous Ljubljana Castle on the castle hill, surrounded by a magnificent medieval fortress. In its vicinity we also see numerous forests and one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Ljubljana – Tivoli Park with its well-kept pond and all its beautiful surroundings. Before landing, we fly over the beautiful Lake Zbilje, which leads us to the confluence of the river Sora and the river Sava. From aerial view we can see mighty castles, the numerous churches, and chapels, which represent a large part of history and their cultural heritage.

30 minutes before takeoff
On the panoramic flight Škofja Loka-Postojna-Vrhnika-Ljubljana-Medvode you will see Škofja Loka, Postojna, Vrhnika, Ljubljana and Medvode from a different perspective – from the air. We take off from airport Ljubljana, where you must gather at least 30 minutes before the takeoff.
The price includes panoramic flight and all necessary security equipment for up to 3 people. Transport to the airport and snacks and drinks are not included in the price, so bring your own if needed.
The flight lasts 60 minutes, and after the flight is over, we land at the airport Ljubljana again.
